Aishwarya’s look leaked online
A picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from the set of Ponniyin Selvan has surfaced online. It is said to be leaked from the set of the Tamil historical drama despite producer-director Mani Ratnam wanting to keep her regal look under wraps. The buzz is that she is playing a double role. Over the weekend, Ash jetted off to Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, for the shoot. Last month, she shot for a long schedule in Puducherry. Except for sharing a motion poster of the film, which is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s novel by the same name, Ash has preferred to keep mum about the project.

The big sis has her way
Considering Taimur and Jehangir were holidaying with parents, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, in the Maldives, their cousin Inaaya Naumi Kemmu was missing them. As soon as the tots returned to Mumbai, she caught up with them — especially Jehangir — over tight hugs and kisses. Inaaya’s mom, Soha Ali Khan, shared a picture of the happy reunion as well as Jehangir’s first rakhi celebration. The six-month-old’s expression says it all — there’s surprise blended in with a bit of fear.
Russian rhapsody
While Salman Khan began shooting for Tiger 3 as soon as he landed in St Petersburg, it appears that co-star Katrina Kaif has yet to step into her character. She has been up and about the Russian city doing touristy things and sharing clicks on Instagram. She even turned weather girl to portray how windy and cold it was. Sallu has been filming for the action thriller on the streets and nephew Nirvan is spotted by his side in the viral pictures. Sohail Khan’s son is eager to learn filmmaking from chachu.
Waiting for joy
Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev and wife Charu Asopa are expecting their first child. The godh bharai was held at Rajeev’s new home with the aunt-to-be conducting the rituals. Sush’s beau Rohman Shawl was also present. TV actor Shaheer Sheikh hosted a baby shower for wife Ruchikaa Kapoor, which was attended by small screen actors, including Krystle D’Souza and Ridhi Dogra.

An evening to remember
Sangeeta Bijlani and Himanshu Malhotra winged their way to New Delhi for a beauty pageant. The two connected over their love for books, spiritualism and tiramisu. Bijlani was the judge, while Malhotra hosted the gala. It was also a fanboy moment for him as he remembers Bijli in the Gali gali mein phirta hai track in Tridev (1989). “In her Instagram Story, she called me ‘a wonderful soul’. I am going to cherish this experience forever,” says Malhotra, who plays Major Rajeev Kapoor in the Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Shershaah.

The long wait for the release of Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan’s debut vehicle is coming to an end. On Tuesday, it was announced that Tadap — An Incredible Love Story, also starring Tara Sutaria, will hit screens on December 3. Sajid Nadiadwala’s production is a remake of the Telugu romantic action drama RX100 (2018). The film, shot in Mumbai and Mussoorie, is helmed by Milan Luthria whose last directorial venture was the Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi-starrer Baadshaaho (2018).
New season, new look
In January 2020, Neena Gupta traded in her decades-old long-hair look for a shoulder-length cut. Now, she has chopped her mane even shorter. The actor was keen on a makeover ahead of the shoot of the second season of the web series, Masaba Masaba, based on the life of her designer daughter. Gupta’s go-to hairstylist Kanta Motwani gave her a short bob. The actor didn’t think twice as she knows she can rock anything.

On Tuesday, the filmmaker announced his new venture, a line of contemporary polki jewellery. “As a filmmaker, I naturally gravitate towards things that are aesthetically beautiful and steeped in tradition,” said KJo. He hopes to see “young Indian women sport chaandbalis with a classic black dress or long-drop earrings with jeans and T-shirts.” Guess KJo’s first customers will be his B-Town pals, who will also publicise it.
