Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday
Ananya, Ishaan: Finding solace in difficult times
Ever since Ananya Panday was summoned for questioning in the Aryan Khan case, close pal Ishaan Khatter has been her pillar of support. He is constantly in touch with her to ensure her well-being. Khatter has been extending positivity and helping her cope with challenging times. After he was seen buying flowers and later visiting Panday’s Bandra home, B-Town was buzzing that they are still a twosome. They hit it off as soon as they began shooting for Maqbool Khan’s romantic drama Khaali Peeli (2020). Last December, there was chatter about them after they holidayed together in the Maldives. Khatter had referred to her as his “muse” in one of the holiday snapshots. In July, Ishaan’s bhabhi, Mira Rajput Kapoor, shared that Panday had sent her a “sweet treat of cinnamon rolls,” which further fuelled talk about the Khatter and Panday romance.
An enjoyable journey
John Abraham has finished shooting for Ek Villain Returns. Mohit Suri’s action-thriller also stars Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria and Arjun Kapoor. “Mohit didn’t need to explain to me much. He would tell me a word, and I would get it. I am a guy who hates night shoots and rain. But in this film, I enjoyed doing everything. I will push aside everything to work with Mohit again,” says Abraham.
Erasing Insta memories
Samantha Ruth Prabhu has deleted photographs with Naga Chaitanya from Instagram. Earlier this month, the couple announced that they were going their separate ways. The Family Man 2 actor’s wedding and holiday pictures have gone missing, but some snapshots featuring Chaitanya with family, friends and pet dog, Hash, remain. Prabhu has been jet-setting lately from Dubai to Rishikesh, so her social media account is flooded with travel pictures.

who has written and directed the drama, which plays this weekend at Prithvi Theatre, Juhu.
Sharvari, who makes her debut with Bunty Aur Babli 2, considers the film special as she got a chance to mouth dialogues in mother tongue Marathi. She plays a con woman in the Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan and Siddhant Chaturvedi-starrer. “Sid and I gave each of our characters a different personality, and tried to capture the essence of various languages. I took the identity of a Maharashtrian. I added a few Marathi dialogues and I was thrilled to shoot this sequence for obvious reasons,” says Sharvari.
Like bestie Malaika Arora, Kareena Kapoor Khan swears by yoga to stay fit and fabulous. Bebo, who is holidaying with family in Rajasthan, is not giving her daily workouts a skip. Eight-month-old son Jeh tried to copy mommy dearest. “Downward dog pose. Yoga runs in the family, you see... pike position,” she wrote. On International Yoga Day (June 21), she shared pictures of Taimur doing asanas with Saif Ali Khan. It’s one big happy yoga family.
B-Town cheers for Aryan
After the Bombay High Court granted bail to Aryan Khan, several Bollywood folk took to social media to express their joy. “Thank God. As a father, I am relieved. May good and positive things happen,” posted R Madhavan. “When time judges, then there is no need for witnesses,” wrote Sonu Sood. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta tweeted, “I want to have a blast tonight.” Malaika Arora shared, “Thank the Lord.” The irreverent Ram Gopal Varma wondered, “So if it just took Mukul Rohatgi’s argument to get bail, does it mean his earlier lawyers were so incompetent that he had to spend so many days in jail needlessly?”
Counting the days
Tahir Raj Bhasin, who plays the role of legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar in 83, can’t wait for Kabir Khan’s directorial venture to hit screens in December. “The film can turn theatres into cricket stadiums where we root and chant for the country. It’s about how underdog India went on to become world champions,” he says. The actor points out that Christmas is perfect for its release as the holiday period will give the audience a cinematic spectacle. Bhasin will also be seen in Looop Lapeta alongside Taapsee Pannu.
