Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora expressed their love for one another on social media. Arora shared a picture of them together and wrote, “Mine.” Borrowing lines from Bill Withers’s classic hit, Kapoor wrote, “Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone. It’s not warm when she’s away. Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone, and she’s always gone too long, anytime she’s goes away.”


Crazy love



Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, who were together for a decade before they tied the knot last November, shared pictures from their wedding to celebrate the day on social media. While the Badhaai Do actor tagged his wife and wrote, “Today, tomorrow, forever,” she shared another celebratory image from their shaadi and wrote, “Love is irrational, love is crazy, love is stupid, but if it isn’t mad, then it’s not love.”

Mouni Roy’s husband Suraj Nambiar got innovative when wishing her for the special day. “Will you be my Valentine, @imouniroy?” he asked on social media, and added, “That was a rhetorical question. You have no choice — we’re married. I love you.” Roy responded by sharing, “I love you too.” She was also quick to post a series of images together saying, “Every day is freaking fun with you.”

With news of Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s upcoming wedding hitting headlines, the lovebirds are becoming comfortable discussing their relationship on social media. They found an unusual way to profess their love, sharing, “I’ve heard that couples start looking like each other eventually but this is a first. Happy Valentine’s Day.”

Reports of Vikrant Massey registering his marriage to Sheetal Thakur at their new home hit headlines yesterday. A portal reported that the registration took place on Valentine’s Day. Massey had previously said that his scheduled wedding had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Kriti’s sister preps for debut

Noorani Chehra, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debutante Nupur Sanon, went on floors yesterday. Billed as a “quirky love story” with a strong social message about being comfortable in your own skin, the film is being directed by Navaniat Singh. Siddiqui said the upcoming movie holds up a mirror to one of society’s biggest misconceptions and sends out a message that “looks are a matter of perception”.

After winning laurels for her acting chops as a trans person in her last release, Vaani Kapoor is elated about essaying a coveted performer in her next, Shamshera. “Coming out of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, I wanted to give the audiences a performance they will again hopefully love,” she says, adding that the period action romance saga is the perfect vehicle for her. “I’m excited to play the role of a performer who dances her way into the hearts of people and I have some amazing songs to perform on.”
