Deepika Padukone stepped out of a photoshoot at Film City in Goregaon late Friday night looking drop-dead gorgeous. She zoomed off from the set in costume. Looks like she was in a hurry to reach home. The actor was wearing high-end labels and her hair was tied up in a neat, tight bun—her trademark hairdo. She also shared pictures from the photoshoot on her Instagram Stories. It is said that Dippy is keen to wrap up her assignments before she heads overseas for the shoot of Pathan, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The unit is slated to shoot in Spain.

Back in town
Sanjay Dutt is back in Mumbai after almost two months. The actor returned from Dubai by a chartered aircraft ahead of sister Priya’s 55th birthday celebration on
Saturday. Dutt also spent a couple of weeks in Los Angeles, where he caught up with daughter Trishala. It won’t be long before he jets off to Dubai again, where wife Maanayata and children, Iqra and Shahraan, live.

PeeCee injured on web show set
The high-octane action sequences in Citadel has left Priyanka Chopra Jonas battered and bruised. She sustained a deep cut on her forehead while shooting for the web series. PeeCee shared a snapshot of the injury on her Instagram Story and told fans it’s for real and not the doing of make-up. Despite the pain and discomfort, she continued to shoot for the Russo Brothers’ show co-starring Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden. PeeCee has been shooting for the spy thriller since early this year in London.
Court raps Honey for no-show
Honey Singh is facing the heat for not appearing before a Delhi court on Saturday in a domestic violence case filed by his wife, Shalini Talwar. The rapper sought exemption citing medical reasons. “No one is above the law. Surprised to see how this case is being taken so lightly,” the court said. Singh was given one last opportunity to appear before the court on September 3, and asked “not to repeat the conduct again”. Talwar, who filed the plea at the Tis Hazari court on August 3, has sought Rs 20 crore as compensation.

Sharad Malhotra and Meera Deosthale are teaming up for the first time in Ratri Ke Yatri. They play lovers in the second season of the web series directed by Anil V Kumar. The two met for the first time on the set and hit it off well. The show also marks Deosthale’s digital debut.

Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai welcomed their first-born on Friday. The telly actor and singer shared the news on social media by posting a picture with their bundle of joy. “Welcome baby Rai. It’s a boy,” they wrote on their respective Instagram handles. Merchant, who announced her pregnancy in March, had revealed that it was an “unexpected surprise” and being a mommy at 40 was “pretty cool”.
