On Thursday, Emraan Hashmi shared a click from Mumbai airport and wrote, “Catching a red-eye flight to....” Though he did not disclose the destination, he posted an emoji of the Turkish flag. “Yay... that means you are indeed a part of Tiger 3,” a social media user commented. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer is being filmed in Istanbul. Though Yash Raj Films have not officially announced Hashmi’s presence in the action thriller, there has been widespread chatter about him playing the antagonist, especially after he began working out with fitness expert Miihier Singh. During the media interactions for his recent release, Chehre, Hashmi preferred to be in denial mode about being part of Tiger 3. Guess then Hashmi is travelling to check out the Turkish hammams, buy some traditional Iznik pottery and savour the baklava.

Alarm bells
Bhumi Pednekar is worried about the extreme weather conditions across the globe in recent times. Heat waves and storms are likely to become more intense with human-induced climate change. Ever since Minissha Lamba went public with her relationship with businessman beau Akash Malik, the two have been logging air miles. Shibani Dandekar shared a monochrome picture from New York and explained why it is her favourite city. “Where dreams began and lessons were learnt. A city that engulfed me, yet somehow shaped me. I have never felt safer or more at home,” she wrote. Dandekar credited the photograph to beau Farhan Akhtar and also mentioned his upcoming web show, Dabba Cartel. Akhtar replied, “You will never be alone in NY or anywhere, anymore.” Looks like Dandekar is part of his digital show.
Saira stable
Saira Banu, who was hospitalised due to a heart ailment, has been advised an angiography. While the veteran actor continues to remain under observation in the ICU, her condition is stable. She was rushed to the Hinduja Healthcare Hospital in Khar earlier this week after she complained of breathlessness and chest congestion. Banu, who turned 77 last month, had been keeping unwell after the death of husband Dilip Kumar.

The second season of Pavitra Rishta, featuring Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh, will drop digitally on September 15. The ZEE5 series will retell the love story of Manav and Archana for the new and old audience. “The love I received from fans for Archana’s character was unparalleled,” says Lokhande. The first outing of Ekta Kapoor’s show starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni revealed secrets about brother Ranbir on The Kapil Sharma Show. Along with mother Neetu, she featured as a guest on the sketch comedy. Riddhima said that when she was studying in London, Ranbir would give her clothes to his female friends. “Once, one of them came home wearing my top,” she said.

Telly couple Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai have named their son, Nirvair. They announced the good news via an Instagram video, which featured their families. Merchant, who delivered on August 27, posted that it is “eat, sleep, feed, repeat,” with their bundle of joy.
