After making a cameo with Shahid Kapoor in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ (2024), Janhvi Kapoor is set to share the screen with him in a possible upcoming film. Buzz around Shahid’s collaboration with director Amit Sharma has intensified, with a relationship comedy reportedly in the works. Industry sources indicate that Janhvi is in advanced negotiations to play the female lead, which would mark their first full-fledged pairing. The film is said to explore a light-hearted and relatable romantic journey. If all goes as planned, the project is likely to begin filming in October, targeting a 2027 theatrical release.
