Kangana Ranaut’s cryptic post on Instagram Story left a section of netizens wondering if she was hinting at a heartbreak. On Monday, she posted, “Tere liye hum hain jiye… kitne sitam hum pe sanam.” She also shared a childhood photo and wrote, “I’m just an ordinary girl, nothing special about me except that I believe in the beauty of love.” Earlier this month, the actor had reportedly said that someone special had entered her life.
Sallu’s ready to rock

Salman Khan is back with his Da-bangg the Tour — Reloaded concerts after a long break due to the pandemic. He kicks off the first leg of the stage shows at the Riyadh Season Festival 2021 on December 10. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Prabhudheva, Sunil Grover, Saaie Manjrekar, Guru Randhawa and Aayush Sharma will accompany the superstar to the Saudi Arabian capital. The show, conceptualised by Sohail Khan, sees Salman and troupe members dancing to Bollywood chartbusters. In 2018, Sallu had toured US and Canada as part of the Da-Bangg the Tour — Reloaded concerts followed by shows in the country, including Pune and Hyderabad. Katrina Kaif, who has been a regular fixture of the tour, is not part of the Riyadh concert. Speculation is rife that Kat’s absence is due to her rumoured Rajasthan destination wedding with Vicky Kaushal just days before the show.
Dutt’s new role
Sanjay Dutt has been appointed brand ambassador of Arunachal Pradesh, and producer buddy Rahul Mittra brand advisor to mark the golden jubilee celebrations of the state. On Monday, the announcement was made by chief minister Pema Khandu along with the assembly speaker Pasang Sona Dorjee in Mechukha. The month-long festivities begin in January 2022.

Over three months after its release, Shershaah’s Raataan lambiyan track continues to regale worldwide. A video of Tanzanian siblings, Kili Paul and Neema, lip-syncing to the song from the Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra-starrer is going viral.
“Music has no language barrier. All the love from Tanzania,” wrote the content creator and dancer duo. California-based teenaged violinist Karolina Protsenko has been playing the track, rendered by Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur, on the streets. “I love this beautiful romantic Indian song,” posted Protsenko.
Date fixed
On Monday, Karan Johar announced the release date of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. “It gives me joy and gratitude to announce that my next, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a love story at its heart with the soul of family values, is releasing on February 10, 2023. See you in cinemas with an abundance of entertainment that we are getting ready for you,” he wrote. The last feature that KJo helmed was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).
Title change
Ajay Devgn has done a rethink. His directorial venture Mayday is now Runway 34. On Monday, the actor-filmmaker announced the new title of the edge-of-the-seat drama starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh and himself. “A high-octane thriller inspired by true events that is special to me for reasons more than one. Landing on Eid, April 29, 2022,” Devgn posted. Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria starrer Heropanti 2, helmed by Ahmed Khan, is releasing on the same date.
Egyptian honour
AR Rahman was honoured with a special tribute certificate at the 43rd Cairo International Film Festival for his “creative contributions that span cinema and music.” The composer was attending the Dubai Expo with daughter Khatija, who performed with his Firdaus orchestra. He took off for Egypt for the festival, which runs till December 5. It is the oldest and most prestigious film gala in the Arab world.
The designer who inspired millions
Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor was among the several B-Town folk who mourned the death of designer Virgil Abloh. The actor shared a glimpse of his sneaker collection created by Abloh and wrote, “You never know what someone is going through, so be kind. Virgil worked through his illness and was inspiring millions till he took his last breath.
It’s going be hard to look at all the things I own that he’s created but I will wear them with pride and always have great admiration and respect.” Brother-in-law Anand Ahuja posted a picture with the late designer and wrote, “He was unafraid to pursue and realise the future he dreamt of.”
Short route
After Malang (2020) and the item number, Har funn maula, with Aamir Khan in Koi Jaane Na, Elli AvrRam features in the Swedish short film, With You, which dropped digitally. The Swedish-Greek actor was keen to be part of a project in her mother tongue. “The film deals with mental health awareness. It was enriching but emotionally exhausting shooting for it,” says AvrRam.
