After ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ (2025) Aanand L Rai is reportedly exploring another collaboration with Kriti Sanon and Dhanush for an ambitious period romance. We have learnt that discussions are underway, with both actors said to have responded positively to the script, though formalities are still being finalised. “If everything falls into place, the film is expected to go on floors towards the end of the year,” a source told Pinkvilla. The film is touted as “an epic love story,” and its tone will be different from their earlier collabs.

The film was made on a budget of Rs 75 crore and grossed Rs 155 crore worldwide, emerging as a clean box-office hit.

As superstar Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan gears up for his next release, Ek Din, co-starring Sai Pallavi, the film has drawn attention for its creative process. Co-producer Mansoor Khan revealed that Aamir stepped in to rework the ending, saying, “Aamir had reservations about the climax scene. He rewrote it. We agreed he was right. That’s the collaborative spirit we share.” He added that the team welcomed Aamir’s inputs on key moments, including shaping the film’s emotional resolution.
