Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra has confirmed that Manoj Bajpayee will portray Mahatma Gandhi in his upcoming biopic. Ending weeks of speculation, the director wrote on social media, “That’s roughly the plan. Hope it all works out.” The announcement marks the first official detail about the project, with production likely to begin in Kolkata this September.
