Sanjay Mishra; still from King
An irritated actor

Sanjay Mishra
Veteran actor Sanjay Mishra has opened up about being typecast as comic relief despite delivering several dramatic performances over his three-decade career. Admitting that the label has often “irritated” him, Mishra said producers tend to rely on familiarity. Comparing casting to cooking, he remarked, “You keep spices in the kitchen, if it’s comedy, Sanjay Mishra will do it in one take.” While the typecasting frustrated him, the actor acknowledged it ensured steady work during lean phases.
Collaboration, no one can deny
