Ananya Panday has secured interim protection from the Bombay High Court against the unauthorised use of her photographs, identity and AI-generated images and videos. The court has directed the removal of objectionable content flagged by her. Ananya had approached the court after discovering that her pictures and AI-created visuals were being used without permission, including to promote products. Justice Madhav Jamdar observed that the material appeared to violate her privacy and publicity rights, as well as her dignity.
