Like her last Hindi feature film, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (2012), her latest movie too sees her team up with actor-husband Riteish Deshmukh. The Shaad Ali-directed project sees them play a couple with contrary views on having children. The film will be entirely shot in the UK.

In January, Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi announced that they are teaming up for Selfiee, a remake of the Malayalam hit, Driving License (2019). Now, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha have joined the comedy-drama to be helmed by Raj Mehta. Giving a glimpse of the madness that’s in store, Nushrratt shared a video that saw the four actors performing crazy antics while seated in a car. “All smiles always when surrounded with the best energy,” she captioned the video.

The actor, who serves as the Dojo Master on India’s Ultimate Warrior, was so pleased with the contestants’ dedication and the guidance offered by the mentors that he thanked them with personalised notes. Praising them, he says, “With tasks being performed under extreme conditions, the contestants were much more prone to injuries, breakdowns, and emotional outbursts. But it was heartening to see how they uplifted each other in those moments of crisis, while keeping their competitive spirit intact.”
