Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday, who spent most of the evening together at Kriti Sanon’s Diwali party on Wednesday, were spotted hanging out together at Manish Malhotra’s bash on Thursday night. Interestingly, both Adi and Ananya had chosen black ensembles. Guess, it is time they make it official now.

Apparently, Deepika Padukone, who previously worked with the director on Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), will be joining the cast. Moreover, an A-list actor will be roped in to essay the role of Dev, the new force that will be introduced in the narrative. Sources claim that the studio will finalise the budget soon. It is also being said that the extensive VFX created for the first part will be smartly re-used in the sequel, thus keeping the cost in check. Apparently, the team is planning to take the film on floors by 2023-end or early 2024.

After a hat-trick of flops at the box-office this year, Akshay Kumar is banking on Ram Setu to turn the tide for him. More so after his Sooryavanshi (2021) with director Rohit Shetty gave a boost to the film industry’s morale last Diwali. On the plus side, the Delhi High Court has forbidden about two dozen rogue websites from illegally distributing, streaming, hosting retransmitting, exhibiting and downloading Akki’s adventure saga that arrives in cinemas next week.
