Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif hosted a get-together at their new Juhu address and pictures shared by the guests provided a glimpse of their sea-facing home. It turned out to be a Christmas as well as a housewarming bash for the newlyweds. Kat’s buddy filmmaker Kabir Khan was also in attendance. VicKat shared a loved-up picture with the X’mas decor. Kaushal captioned the snapshot, “Meri Christmas.”
Snake bite scare for Salman

Playing with a snake can be deadly, and Salman Khan had the biggest scare of his life in the wee hours of Sunday at his Panvel farmhouse. The serpent bit him, requiring immediate medical attention. He was rushed to a hospital in Kamothe, where he was administered treatment and discharged after spending some hours under observation. On Sunday morning, the superstar called his go-to physician, Dr Jalil Parkar from Lilavati Hospital (below), to examine him.
Luckily, for Sallu, it was a non-venomous snake. He took a keepsake happy photograph with the doctor against the backdrop of the Christmas decorations at the farmhouse to tell well-wishers that all is well. Snakes, creepy crawlies and scorpions are often found at farmhouses, but this time a snake that made its way towards the house caught Sallu’s attention while he was sitting out with friends. Provoked, the serpent bared its fangs. Over the weekend, Khan took off for Panvel with family and friends to soak in the Christmas festivities as well as celebrate his 56th birthday today. He shares his big day with niece Ayat, daughter of Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma. It is a tradition for the Dabangg star to ring in his birthday at the Panvel farmhouse. Sallu had spent a greater part of the lockdown farming and rearing animals at his favourite getaway.
Festive joy with fur babies
Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas soaked in the Christmas festivities at their Los Angeles home with “their babies”, pet dogs, Panda, Diana and Gino. The couple erected a giant Christmas tree, decorated by PeeCee. After a hectic round of promotions for The Matrix Resurrections and shooting for the digtal series, Citadel, the actor is savouring the year-end break.

It is the first time the couple has taken off together after Kundra was allegedly accused in a porn racket case. The actor’s bestie Akanksha Malhotra, hubby Rohit Aggarwal and children, Mehek and Myra, are accompanying her. Shetty is keen to explore the country’s natural beauty with family. “Christmas couldn’t get better than this,” she wrote.

Huma Qureshi dropped a hint that she has started shooting for the second season of the political drama, Maharani. The actor posted on Instagram Story, “Maharani is in Bhopal mode.” Qureshi began work on the Subhash Kapoor-created web series over the weekend. After winning accolades for playing Rani Bharti, a simple villager who becomes the chief minister of Bihar, Qureshi is determined to deliver an impressive act in the show yet again.

Sussanne Khan and rumoured actor boyfriend Arslan Goni are going strong. The two were inseparable at Ekta Kapoor’s Christmas bash, which was attended by Karan Johar, Shabinaa Khan and Neelam Kothari Soni. The interior designer maintains Goni is “her everything”, and “the most beautiful energy that I have come across”, a clear sign that there is more to their friendship.

In a bid to make it look authentic, in between shots, she reacts with unit members in a frosty manner like her on-screen persona, Shehnaaz Shroff. It’s well known that Kajol is adept at knitting. If she is not reading a book on the set, she is busy with her pair of needles creating woollen delights. Kajol’s Christmas gift for son Yug was a red sweater she specially made for the festive season. “Made the boy and the sweater. Eat, drink and be merry,” the actor posted. Earlier, Kads had showcased her skills while making a top for daughter Nysa and a cardigan for herself. The Devgn’s Juhu home is adorned with knitted knick-knacks — all of Kajol’s creations.
