After weeks of speculation over whether Priyanka Chopra or Vidya Balan would team up with Saif Ali Khan on screen (Who’s in? Who’s out? October 23), the mystery is finally over. Vidya has confirmed that she will be reuniting with Saif almost after two decades of Parineeta (2005), for Ritesh Batra’s Long Years Ago, currently being shot in Mumbai.

Vidya, Saif and Ritesh express excitement about the film

The dramedy, set in 1991, follows a family confronting years of silence. “What makes this even more special is that I get to reunite with Saif after Parineeta, my very first film! I can’t wait to experience the magic of working with both Ritesh and Saif,” Vidya told Deadline.
