A special prayer meeting for the late legendary actor Dharmendra will be held in Delhi on December 11, bringing together his entire family, including Esha Deol and her ex-husband, Bharat Takhtani. The event will take place at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in Janpath, New Delhi, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Hema Malini is organising the ceremony with her daughters Esha and Ahana Deol, as well as their families. The invitation to the ceremony lists Esha's name alongside Bharat Takhtani, implying that the former couple will go together. Meanwhile, Ahana will go with her husband, Vaibhav Vohra.
Esha and Bharat, who divorced in 2024 after nearly 12 years together, continue to co-parent their two kids, Radhya and Miraya Takhtani. Their willingness to come together for Dharmendra's memory ceremony demonstrates the family's strong affinity and affection for the late star.
This Delhi gathering comes shortly after Dharmendra's 90th birthday and follows a different prayer meeting conducted in Mumbai on November 27. Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Shabana Azmi, Jackie Shroff, and Sidharth Malhotra were among those who attended the ceremony and expressed their affection.

Earlier, Hema Malini penned a heartfelt note, missing Dharmendra on the 90th birth anniversary, "Happy birthday, my dear heart. More than two weeks have passed since you left me heartbroken, slowly gathering up the pieces and trying to reconstruct my life, knowing that you will always be with me in spirit. The joyful memories of our life together can never be erased, and just reliving those moments brings me great solace and happiness. While wife Hema Malini and her daughters did not attend the Mumbai prayer meeting, they did perform a private puja at their home the same day. The private wedding was attended by close friends Mahima Chaudhry and Sunita Ahuja, as well as her son Yashvardhan. Bharat Takhtani was also present at the pooja.
Dharmendra's 90th birthday, celebrated yesterday, December 8, was commemorated by a series of touching tributes from his family. His children, Sunny, Bobby, and Esha, shared nostalgic photos and heartfelt remarks on social media in honour of his life and legacy.
