Dharmendra's deteriorating health has been making news since early this month. While some reports claimed that the veteran star had passed away, his family immediately dismissed the rumours and slammed all such false claims. Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital two weeks ago and had been seeking treatment at his home in Mumbai. However, on Monday, fresh reports about the actor’s failing health surfaced again.

Security tightened at the crematorium

On Monday afternoon, an ambulance was seen arriving at the Deol residence, where Dharmendra was being treated in the presence of his family members. Although the family has not yet shared an official update on his condition, security has been heightened at the Pawan Hans crematorium in the city. This unusual activity has raised concerns among fans regarding Dharmendra's health.

Brief update on Dharmendra's health scare

Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital a few days before October 31 after he reportedly complained of breathlessness. His condition had been serious, and he was placed on a ventilator for a brief period. After spending several days receiving treatment, he was discharged on November 12. During his hospital stay, false rumours about his death circulated widely.

Following the rumours, his wife, actor Hema Malini, and daughter Esha Deol issued a public statement on November 11, clarifying that he was alive and recovering. As his health continues to improve, the family is reportedly planning to celebrate his 90th birthday next month.

Meanwhile, the coverage of Dharmendra's health by a section of the media has sparked outrage in recent days. Sunny Deol lost his temper with photographers stationed outside his home following his father’s hospital discharge. The visibly emotional actor told them, “Aap logon ko sharam aani chahiye… Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, bacche hain…” he said, folding his hands in frustration.

Following this, filmmaker Karan Johar, Nikitin Dheer, Ameesha Patel, and IFTDA president Ashoke Pandit slammed the paparazzi. A few days back, Shatrughan Sinha visited Hema Malini and offered warm wishes for Dharmendra's speedy recovery following his massive health scare.
