Infernal Affairs, the 2002 Hong Kong cult thriller behind Martin Scorsese's Oscar-winning film The Departed (2006) will have an Indian remake.

Yesterday, producer Sunir Kheterpal and Warner Bros India announced a collaboration to produce the desi version. Directed by Andrew Lau and Alan Mak, the film revolves around a police officer who infiltrates a crime syndicate.
The director and the cast has yet to be ascertained. Scorsese adapted the film as The Departed, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon. It won four Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director.
