In the latest development to the ongoing controversy around Padmavati, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali appeared before the parliamentary standing committee on Information Technology yesterday. Besides being reprimanded for submitting his film late for the censor certificate, sources said members of the panel also questioned him on his decision to host the film's screening for select media persons.
