Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor were supposed to come together in Karan Johar&rsquo;s ambitious project titled 'Shuddhi' but that was not to be after both opted out of it. Now it has emerged that they might be seen together in Ashutosh Gowariker&rsquo;s next film 'Mohenjo-daro'.

If the latest buzz is to be believed, Kareena has been finalised for the period drama that stars Hrithik Roshan. Says a source, &ldquo;A lot of names have been doing the rounds as far as the lead actress in Gowariker&rsquo;s next film is concerned. But Kareena has been finalised as the lead opposite Hrithik.&rdquo;
The source adds that Kareena is the perfect choice for the role as she fits the character very well. &ldquo;She has everything that Gowariker is looking for in his leading lady and it is a given that Hrithik and Kareena will look fantastic together on screen,&rdquo; says the source.
The filmmaker&rsquo;s spokesperson continues to be evasive. &ldquo;Ashutosh has been busy shooting for his upcoming television show and nothing has been finalised. As soon as we know more, we will tell you,&rdquo; was the response. Kareena remained unavailable for comment.
