From action thriller he shifted to romantic comedy with &#39;Ajab Gazabb Love&#39;, and wants to try his hand at other genres as well.u00a0&#39;I want to make a pure drama, a horror film, and a musical after this. I don&#39;t see myself making 20 films. I just feel that only four-five are there left inside me, and by the end of it, I want to know myself. <img alt="Sanjay Gadhvi" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2012/oct/Sanjay-Gadhvi.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 419px; " /> &#39;I am not on the planet earth to make &#39;Dhooms&#39;. I have done it twice, I consider myself lucky to get the opportunity. At the end of the day it&#39;s just one of my films,&#39; Gadhvi told IANS in an interview.u00a0The director made &#39;Kidnap&#39; after &#39;Dhoom 2&#39;, which didn&#39;t garner much success at the box office. u00a0&#39;I realised and understood the power of &#39;Dhoom&#39; when &#39;Kidnap&#39; released. It was like a slap on the face,&#39; he said. &#39;&#39;Kidnap&#39; was a serious film and now I have made an out and out comedy so that there is no way that this fails... I haven&#39;t heard of a film failing because it&#39;s too funny,&#39; he added.u00a0Even after making films like &#39;Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai&#39;, &#39;Tere Liye&#39; and &#39;Kidnap&#39;, the director is still known as the one who made &#39;Dhoom&#39;. &#39;That&#39;s the one which had maximum impact. No matter what kind of films you make, the one that has maximum impact stays in people&#39;s mind. &#39;Dhoom&#39; had a bigger impact than &#39;Dhoom 2&#39;. So that&#39;s why I will be known as the guy who made &#39;Dhoom&#39;. I can be misinterpreted that I make only &#39;Dhoom&#39; kind of films. But I doubt the viewers even care so much,&#39; he said. According to Gadhvi, filmmaking is a very &#39;personal skill&#39;, and he makes films on certain subjects because he &#39;likes&#39; them.u00a0&#39;At the same time I am conscious that it should be liked by everybody. As I am spending more time in the show business, I am realizing that I need to be more assertive. I am very much a producer&#39;s director and want to make popular cinema. But I also want to get to know myself better and what better way to do that than to make films,&#39; he said.u00a0&#39;Ajab Gazabb Love&#39;, starring Jackky Bhagnani and Nidhi Subbaiah, is releasing Friday.
