The makers of Ikkis have revealed an all new poster of Dharmendra's character from his upcoming film starring Agastya Nanda. This comes amid the growing concerns and speculations surrounding his health

As concerns around Dharmendra's health continue to heighten, especially after ambulances were spotted outside his residence and the crematorium grounds. Amid the reports, the makers of Ikkis, unveiled a striking new poster featuring the veteran actor. The legendary actor has reportedly recovered after spending 12 days in the hospital due to severe breathlessness.

The makers took to Instagram to drop the new poster featuring the actor and captioned it as, "Fathers raise sons. Legends raise nations. Dharmendra ji, an emotional powerhouse as the father of a 21-year-old immortal soldier. One timeless legend brings us the story of another. Ikkis TrailerOutNow Ikkis in cinemas worldwide on 25th December 2025."



The poster gives an insight into Dharmendra's character in the upcoming movie. Dharmendra plays the role of Brigadier M.L. Khetarpal, father of Arun Khetrapal. The poster also includes a dialogue in the background, voiced by Dharmendra, cherishing the bravery of his late son. The actor can be heard saying, "Yeh mera bada beta, Arun. Yeh humesha ikkis ka hi rahega."

For the unversed, Brigadier M.L. Khetrapal played a crucial role in shaping his son Arun's sense of duty. His inspiring tales of courage and patriotism influenced Arun's decision to join the Indian Army. Agastya Nanda portrays Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal in the film. Arun was posthumously honoured with the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Dharmendra's growing health concerns

Dharmendra was earlier admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on October 31 after experiencing severe breathlessness. He was later discharged on November 12, following which he was receiving treatment under medical supervision at home.

Sunny Deol's team had shared a statement confirming that his treatment would continue at home. The statement read, "Mr Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family's privacy during this time."

Notably, on Monday afternoon, an ambulance was seen at the Deol residence, where Dharmendra was being treated. Although the family has not yet shared an official update on his condition, security has been heightened at the Pawan Hans crematorium in the city. Meanwhile, Karan Johar confirmed the news of his death in long emotional post.
