Unlike other celebrity couples who jetted off to exotic locations to ring in the New Year 2023, newbie parents, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt decided to stay at home and party with their family and close friends. Last night, the couple threw an intimate party for their friends and family at the favourite spot of their home, the balcony. The new mommy, Alia ditched a fancy party dress for a cute night suit. Her sister Shaheen too joined Alia and sported a night suit for the house party. Ranbir and Alia's home was lit up with candles and lights.
Apart from Alia's sister Shaheen, present at Ranbir-Alia's New Year house party were Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur, director Rohit Dhawan and his wife, Jaanvi Dhawan. On Sunday morning, Alia took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her New Year celebration. She dropped a few photos of herself along with a group photo with her guests. "happy new new .. with my loveliest ones", wrote Alia alongside her post.
In the first photo, Alia can be seen posing solo, making a heart with her hands and smiling with her eyes closed. She even wore a cute headband with Mickey Mouse ears with '2023' written on them. In the second photo, Alia can be seen sitting next to Ranbir Kapoor. In the photo, Ranbir is all smiles as he wraps his arm around Alia. In the third photo, a shy Alia Bhatt can be seen laughing her heart out.
On the work front, while Ranbir will be next seen in Luv Ranjan's 'Tu Jhooti Main Makkar', where he will be sharing screen with Shraddha Kapoor for the first time, and Sandeep Vanga Reddy's 'Animal', Alia, on the other hand, will soon make her Hollywood debut with Gal Gadot-starrer, 'Heart Of Stone' and will be next seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', co-starring Ranveer Singh.
