There has been talk that after Ishaan Khattar-starrer Beyond The Clouds, Majid Majidi is likely to set his next film, Gold Mine also in India. The latest on the front is that the acclaimed Iranian filmmaker will soon begin prep and the project will roll next year. It may be shot in north India. The cast has yet to be ascertained and some B-Town stars might be in consideration. Majidi always makes actors go through rigorous auditions. He conducted Deepika Padukone's audition for Beyond The Clouds at the dhobi ghat at Mahalaxmi, but then opted for South actor Malavika Mohanan. Majidi finds it difficult to work with superstars.
