Mumbai Police have arrested a man in connection with an alleged cheating case worth Rs 1.75 crore that reportedly involved Habiba Jaffrey, wife of actor Jaaved Jaaferi. According to officials, the accused allegedly convinced the complainant to invest money by promising high financial returns and business opportunities. Investigators claim the suspect collected a large amount over a period of time before failing to return the money or deliver on the promised commitments.
