<p>Actor Sunny Deol admitted that Karan is a character that continues to live in his heart as his 1996 romantic actioner 'Jeet' completed 30 years of release on Sunday.</p>
<p>Sunny uploaded a scene with co-star Karisma Kapoor from the movie on his official Instagram handle and expressed his gratitude to the audience for loving the film for such a long time.</p>

<p>Written and directed by Raj Kanwar, 'Jeet' has been backed by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.</p>
<p>Along with Sunny and Karisma, the project also saw <strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/fire-at-salman-khans-gym-in-delhi-heres-what-happened-23645935" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Salman Khan</a></strong>, Tabu, and Amrish Puri in crucial roles, along with others.</p>
<p>'Jeet' revolves around a ruthless hitman, Karan (Played by Sunny Deol), who falls in love with Kajal (Played by Karisma Kapoor). However, her marriage to her childhood friend Raju (Played by Salman Khan) makes him lock horns with his crime boss, Gajraj (Played by Amrish Puri).</p>
<p>Released on 23 August 1996, 'Jeet turned out to be a massive hit at the box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year. The film was even remade in Bengali with the title "Laal Badshah'.</p>
<p>In addition to 'Jeet', Sunny has collaborated with Karisma for the movie 'Ajay'. Directed by Suneel Darshan, the project also reached the audience in 1996.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Sunny recently graced the screen with the period drama 'Batwara 1947'.</p>
<p>Helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by <strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/rajkumar-santoshi-reacts-to-sunny-deol-aamir-khan-rift-over-batwara-1947-23645884" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Aamir Khan</a></strong> Productions, the project also featured Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, and Karan Deol in key roles, along with others.</p>
