Nirav Modi launched its flagship boutique in the heart of Mumbai&rsquo;s iconic and resplendent art district Kala Ghoda &mdash; a fitting addition to the neighbourhood given the brand&rsquo;s close ties to art and design.

The scintillating launch event saw a mix of the city&rsquo;s jewellery and luxury lovers including Mehul Choksi, Tasneem Mehta, Devita Saraf, Vispi and Lata Patel, Arvind and Tanya Dubash, Chirag and Tanaaz Doshi, Ashika Pohoomul Mehta, Ishita Salgaocar, Dilip De, Penny Patel, Nayantara Thacker, Alex and Namita Kuruvilla walk down the red carpet.

A live installation of models wearing stunning jewels from collections like the Lotus Collection and the Luminance Collection and others impressed the guests.

The boutique is spread over three levels and done up with customised furniture. It has a luxe setting that boasts of a theatrical display, a bridal salon and swivelling display windows.

The idea is to present the craftsmanship of the jewellery in the most exquisite manner.

Speaking at the launch, Nirav Modi said, &ldquo;It isn&rsquo;t just a boutique that I wanted to create but an unparalleled experience.

It is as much about how a woman feels as how she looks and I wanted every detail of the ambience to take that into account.&rdquo;
