John has worked with Akshay in "Garam Masala", "Desi Boyz", "Housefull 2" and everyone has liked his on screen tuning with the 'Khiladi' Kumar. In "Dostana" audience loved the chemistry between John and Abhishek Bachchan. Now in "Dishoom" Varun and John's pairing is being appreciated.
"How many heroines we have in the industry? We have more heroes today. So I am doing bromance with them. I am comfortable around men and I like it...not in a wrong way.
It's about bonding and I get along well with Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Varun Dhawan," John told reporters here at the success press conference of "Dishoom" when asked about bromance with Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Varun Dhawan.
In Rohit Dhawan-directed film "Dishoom" Akshay Kumar is seen as a homosexual. He has a cameo appearance in the film.
"That role was always there in the film. It's just a comedy scene, but the scene has a deep meaning. That scene was written in a certain way. In our country homosexuals in a certain way...think a homosexual is not a strong as a straight man," Rohit said.
"In our country we have athletes, who are gay men and getting Akshay Kumar symbolises that he is a homosexual in the film, but he overpowers the two men (John and Varun) in the film. We have shown homosexual is stronger than straight men," he added.
Rohit also revealed that if the sequel of "Dishoom" comes up, he will rope in Akshay Kumar for the second part and with a bigger role this time.
