John Abraham, so far seen in urban, contemporary themes, is all set to play a warrior in a lavish 18th century costume drama, which would give him his first chance to go back in time.

John and the makers of the film say its too early to even name the warrior the actor will play in the new project.

John said: "I like new challenges thrown at me as an actor. I've never done a period film. It would be nice to get into that space."
