Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor recently opened up about the emotional and tense atmosphere during the shooting of their upcoming film Daadi Ki Shaadi in Shimla amid the India-Pakistan conflict linked to Operation Sindoor in 2025. Despite growing concerns across the country, the cast and crew decided to continue filming, turning the challenging period into one of the most memorable experiences of the project.

Kapil Sharma talks about shooting in tense situation

During promotions for the film, Kapil Sharma recalled how the entire team stayed together in cottages because the shooting location did not have enough space for vanity vans. Unlike typical film shoots where actors remain inside their separate vans, the cast spent quality time together, bonding like a family. Neetu Kapoor revealed that the atmosphere reminded her of older film shoots and said she had not enjoyed working on a film set this much since Kabhi Kabhie.
