In the midst of a recent debate on nepotism, filmmaker Karan Johar commented on the struggle of staying relevant in Bollywood. He stated that while becoming a star is not tough, it is hard to hold on to success in the long run. "It is difficult to stay relevant. I will be completing 20 years in the industry in 2019. It is not easy. Getting success is not difficult if you do your job well, but maintaining it is tough," Johar said.
