Karan Johar will produce 2 States (2014) director Abhishek Varman's next. Yesterday, KJo took to Twitter to announce that he has teamed up with Fox Star and Sajid Nadiadwala for the project.

The untitled film is slated to release on April 19, 2019. In another tweet, the filmaker said the cast of the movie will be announced soon. Speculation is rife that Johar's Student Of The Year (2012) duo Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan will star in the film.
