Curtains came down on the city's fashion week on Sunday, with a bevy of Bollywood stars strutting their stuff on ramp, but it was easy to see who stole the show. In a Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehenga, Kareena Kapoor Khan sashayed down a dimly-lit runway with enviable ease. And while at that, she flaunted her growing baby bump and glowed like a diva.

When hitlist caught up with the actress after the show, she was excited to discuss why this time was different.

"It's an iconic moment, not only for me but even for the world of fashion because this time, it isn't just me, but two of us walking the ramp! I am sure the little one will always remember this moment. In a way, it's engraved in history."
She emphasised how married women and working mothers should continue chasing their dreams. "I have always maintained that women should go about their lives, as they normally do, even during this phase. Pregnancy makes me feel amazing and more confident than before. In the West, stars have often walked the red carpet proudly flaunting their bump. And for me, it's no different. This show celebrated the spirit of the independent working woman, and I am honoured to have represented that. The process has been organic and normal," she added.
