Kajol was recently asked if her daughter Nysa Devgan, aspires to be an actor, like her colleagues' star children Rasha Thadani, Ananya Panday, and Suhana Khan, who have followed in their parents' footsteps. Bollywood's darling Bebo aka Kareena Kapoor Khan, has now disclosed whether her 8-year-old son Taimur Ali Khan aspires to be an actor one day, like her and his father, Saif Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor talks about Taimur's aspirations
Kareena Kapoor Khan recently joined her sister-in-law, fellow Bollywood actor Soha Ali Khan, on her new podcast. Regarding her son Taimur Ali Khan, Bebo stated, "Tim has no interest in drama or performing. Every time he had to choose an extracurricular activity at school, I would go over the list and ask him, 'Do you want to do drama this year?' He would answer, 'No.' I would question, "Why not?" Just try acting? And he would say, 'No, I don't enjoy it. So I did not push it."
Kareen Kapoor Khan further revealed, "He once told me he wanted to join a cookery class because his father enjoys cooking. He’s never really met other actors. He keeps asking, ‘Are you friends with Rohit Sharma? With Virat Kohli? Can you message him and ask for his bat? Do you have Lionel Messi’s contact?’ And I’m like, ‘No, I don’t have these contacts.’ He has no clue about actors. He’ll ask, ‘Can I ask this question to Virat?’ and I’m like, ‘No, I don’t know him, you can’t just message him!’" Taimur may one day play cricket for India or become a chef! The world is his oyster.
Kareena Kapoor talks about paparazzi culture
Earlier, Kareena revealed how she deals with the paparazzi culture, "By being thick-skinned. There is no other way out in this profession. If you give in to the toxicity of it, it feeds in more rather than solving the issue. So, I just pull back and I have learnt to do that when someone says things. Luckily, the children are not yet updated much."
She further shared how Taimur is aware of the paps and being clicked, however, Jeh isn't much aware of it, "He got used to the fact that he's getting clicked. So, then when I told them not to click him, he said, ‘Why did you tell them not to click me?’ So I told him it’s because I am famous and just because you are my son, it does not mean that you are famous. You are not famous. So now he is calculating that I have to become like Lionel Messi or Virat Kohli, then I will get clicked."
On the film front, Saif will next appear in Priyadarshan's Haiwaan, opposite Akshay Kumar. Kareena, on the other hand, is preparing for Meghna Gulzar's crime drama thriller Daayra, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
