Days after <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/kabir-khan-on-kartik-aaryan-knee-injury-theres-no-change-in-our-schedule-23646225" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Kartik Aaryan</a> underwent knee surgery, work has come calling. We&rsquo;ve heard that the actor has returned to the set of Anurag Basu&rsquo;s yet-untitled romantic drama that also stars Sreeleela. According to sources, Aaryan is shooting at Film City in Goregaon, with the director having lined up his close-up shots that won&rsquo;t demand much movement of the actor.

&ldquo;Some portions of Kartik were still pending. With the movie now in its last leg, the actor and Anurag didn&rsquo;t want to delay filming them any further. So, the team worked around his recovery plan and made it possible for him to come in and shoot,&rdquo; revealed a source from the unit.

The actor sustained a <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/kartik-aaryan-injured-during-action-shoot-for-kabir-khan-captain-india-23645524" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">knee injury</a> in mid-August while shooting an action sequence for Kabir Khan&rsquo;s sports drama, and was recovering at home after the surgery. But it was necessary to face the camera for Basu&rsquo;s project since it is close to the finish line.&nbsp;
The source elaborated, &ldquo;Since the shoot is almost done, everyone wanted to ensure that the remaining work was completed this month. If things go as planned, Anurag will call it a wrap by August-end.&rdquo;
