At no stage should you just let yourself go. Beauty basics I'm of the school of thought that beauty is very personal. One person might find you beautiful while another might not. I can't derive my satisfaction from what others think of me. Compliments don't give me any sense of power. If you appraise yourself by the yardstick that others set for you, your sense of self-worth would be set on a very weak foundation. The inside story You need to be beautiful from within to appear beautiful from the outside. What you stand for and what you achieve are concrete determinants of your beauty. I would not say that a pretty face is enough to be successful. That might hold true in the modelling industry or the glamour line. It's baseless otherwise.
