Kaveri Seth has a lot to be grateful for in 2026. After gaining attention with Made in India: A Titan Story earlier this year, the actor is now part of The Peasant, backed by A24 and written, directed, and led by Dev Patel. Having admired Patel’s work as an actor, Seth got to experience his approach as a director on the revenge thriller’s sets.

Describing him as someone with the perfect mix of clarity and collaborative spirit, she said, “Dev had a clear vision, but there was also room to discover things along the way, and that made the process collaborative. Something I took away from working with him was a renewed conviction to trust my own instincts, to be thoughtful about the work I take up, and stay true to the kind of stories I want to be part of.”
