Vivek Oberoi, his wife and his sister get creative when celebrating their mom's birthday

Vivek Oberoi and sister Meghna planned a birthday party for their mother Yashodhara recently the theme was an unusual children's party. VO's wife Priyanka helped out.

Says the actor's friend, "Vivek wanted to gift his mom something special a children's party with balloons, clowns, treasure hunt, etc something Yashodhara had never enjoyed as a child.

Relatives and friends were asked to show up and pretend to be busy so as keep up the surprise."

The retro-themed party includedu00a0 conical party hats, paper whistles and magic candles with different cakes of all fun shapes and sizes.

"Vivek picked her up while she was out and took her back home. The lights were out and when she entered, everyone shouted 'surprise!' "

Yashodhara threw parties for her children but this time, they threw one for her. It was an exciting time as kids were also invited.

"There were even party games like passing the parcel. It was amazing fun," laughs the friend.
