mid-day has learnt that the actor returned to the set of King on April 21, kicking off a two-day shoot of an action set-piece alongside leading man <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/celebrity-life/luxury/article/shah-rukh-khan-manager-pooja-dadlani-purchases-three-apartments-worth-rs-38-crore-23627170" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Shah Rukh Khan</a>.

Sources revealed that true to his style, filmmaker Siddharth Anand envisioned a hyper-stylised fight sequence that sees the two superstars in combat with eight fighters. An insider shared, &ldquo;Shah Rukh and <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/deepika-padukone-shoots-with-punit-malhotra-after-announcing-second-pregnancy-23626817" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Deepika</a> filmed the scene on April 21 and 22, with the latter dressed in an all-white outfit. A special set was constructed at Golden Tobacco Studio in Vile Parle. The combat choreography is in line with the film&rsquo;s larger-than-life treatment.&rdquo;
More adrenaline rush seems to be in store for Padukone, as far as King&rsquo;s shoot is concerned. The source added, &ldquo;Siddharth has planned another elaborate set-piece against a sandy backdrop. It will be shot in a Mira Road studio.&rdquo;
Padukone, who welcomed her first child Dua with actor and her husband Ranveer Singh in September 2024, also has Allu Arjun-starrer <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/raaka-makers-deny-trimming-deepika-padukones-role-amid-pregnancy-23627075" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Raaka</a> on her plate.
