Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr Shriram Nene, has revealed that he was unfamiliar with Bollywood’s biggest stars when they got married. In a conversation with Farah Khan, he recalled not knowing Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan at their wedding reception. He also explained why Madhuri’s stardom was never a factor when they first met and decided to get married.

On her YouTube channel, Farah Khan asked Dr Shriram Nene about not knowing the extent of Madhuri Dixit’s stardom when they were getting married. He reasoned, “Because I grew up on Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Star Wars. I didn’t watch Hindi films. Then we met and dated for three months. We just hit it off and got along, and after three months, I proposed to her.”
