Mrunal Thakur has received quite some flak for a comment she made about Bipasha Basu several years ago. A clip from 2012 surfaced last year, where Mrunal had called Bipasha Basu "manly with muscles", claiming she is "better" than her. The controversy has now reignited after fashion designer Masaba Gupta took a fresh dig at Mrunal, while praising Bipasha for her beauty and muscular build.

Masaba took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday and shared the poster of a magazine cover featuring Bipasha. Along with the post, she penned a note that read,  “I am very happy to see Bipasha on a cover. You see, she is the last of the OGs. There will not be another Bipasha because everything else is a cookie cutter template today. Boring. Dull. Doesn't inspire one bit of confidence.”
