In her next project Katrina Kaif's character is so volatile and unpredictable that she needed special preparation to essay it.

Written and directed by debutant Ali Abbas Zafar, the film titled 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' will star Imran Khan as the male lead. According to producer Aditya Chopra's brief, Katrina would have to play the temperamental girl after much preparation.

"All I can say about my role is that this girl is quite a number. The closest I came to playing something so challenging was in 'Namastey London' and that was a cakewalk compared to this. The girl in Ali's film is... something else. I have to go completely outside myself to play her. Whom am I observing to play the role? I am not telling," said Katrina.

This romantic comedy is scheduled for release in 2011. Ali has been with YRF for many years and had assisted on films such as 'Badmaash Company', 'New York', 'Tashan' and 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'.
