Mirzapur The Movie has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), with the makers asked to make several changes before its release. While cuss words, a caste reference, and intimate scenes faced modifications, the film’s violent and gory sequences remained untouched. The film’s runtime also exceeds three hours.

Mirzapur CBFC changes

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC asked for several cuts before handing over the censor certificate to the makers. Cuss words were muted at four places, while at six places, the abuses were replaced with ‘appropriate’ words. The dialogue ‘Galey se lag gar’ was also modified.
