Mirzapur The Movie is a full-on paisa vasool entertainer, packed with absolute madness, action, and drama. The film's biggest strength is its OG cast, while the female characters leave you wanting to see more.

A still from Mirzapur The Movie
"Jo Mirzapur ki gaddi pe baithega, woh is desh ka bhavishya tah karega." Mirzapur fans, assemble! Because I am sure you're seriously not ready for this 'bhaukaal' ride packed with greed, golis, and, of course, dysfunctional families. After three successful seasons on OTT, Mirzapur has finally hit the silver screens. And if, like me, you were expecting the same old humour, intense dialogue delivery and absolute madness, then please give it a watch- because I am sure you won't be disappointed.
What's the story?
Directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by the original writer Puneet Krishna, the film takes you back in time somewhere in the middle of the first season and adds new characters and interesting twists to the story. So, before going any further, let's refresh your memories. Akhandanand Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) aka Kaleen Bhaiya is the undisputed king of Mirzapur. He has built an empire through legal and illegal businesses that give him massive influence over Purvanchal. While Kaleen rules the region, his son Munna (Divyenndu) is desperate for something money and power can't buy- his father's love and approval.
