Actor delays the promotion of his upcoming film
Remember Mohit Ahlawat? Better known as the Ram Gopal Verma protege who debuted in James (2005), was last seen in Shiva (2006), and has been missing since. He will next be seen in a film called Emotional Atyachar (not to be confused with the TV show).
Meanwhile, the promotion plan of the film is yet to be decided. Directed by Akshay Shere and produced by Vijay Gutte and Mohit Agarwal, the film also stars Kalki Koechlin, Vinay Pathak and Ranvir Shorey.
Stuck without him
A source reveals, "The producers have been chasing him for weeks. Initially, he would answer the calls, but then he just stopped that too. Since the promotional activities were planned with the entire cast, they can't go ahead without Mohit. His character is central, so they are stuck without him."u00a0
Co-producer Agarwal confirms, "Mohit is the reason the promotions have been delayed. Since the film releases on September 3, we were planning to travel along with the entire cast. However, despite repeated attempts, he's been unavailable."
They've finally decided not to wait for the errant actor anymore. "No, we will go ahead without him. They were planning to start it sooner, but now there's already a delay. There's no point in waiting any longer. We will be travelling with the rest of the cast to various different cities."
Mohit Ahlawat was unavailable for comment.
