PRETOX
Hair Rinse it twice with a shampoo and don&rsquo;t forget the conditioner. If you are using a hair product, make sure it doesn&rsquo;t leave residue particles or you&rsquo;ll be shedding specks on your party dress. Make sure the split ends are trimmed. Avoid ironing or keeping the dryer too close to the scalp when blow drying. Too much back -combing can damage the hair. Keep things simple.
Skin Cleanse, scrub and moisturise the skin with a hydrating mask. This well help your make-up stay crack-free. Use a primer before make-up. Make sure to apply lip balm for two-three nights consecutively before the party, so your lipstick doesn&rsquo;t show creases. Use a home-made face pack with milk, honey and turmeric.
Body Exfoliate dead skin with a scrub. Apply sufficient moisturiser while the skin is still damp. The bit of you that you decide to flaunt needs to glow. If you have not pampered your legs, don&rsquo;t show them. Keep your nails clean, trimmed&nbsp;and filed.
DETOX
Hair If you have used a product, rinse the hair well once back home, and condition it. Oil your hair the next day and once a week post that. A home pack with eggs or yoghurt can help nurse the hair back to life from all the smoke and dryness it experiences at a party. Use a detangling serum, if required.
Skin Don&rsquo;t forget to remove all make-up, particularly eye make-up, before you sleep. Apply moisturiser generously and a dermatologist-recommended repair cream for the night. Use a lip balm and a toner. Drink lots of water to wash away all that you&rsquo;ve drunk.
Body
Don&rsquo;t forget to remove shimmer from your skin. Rinse and moisturise. Remove your nail polish once a week. Use a hand and feet cream.
For gentlemen
PRETOX
Hair Rinse it twice with a shampoo and don&rsquo;t forget the conditioner. If you have dandruff, avoid wearing dark colours or make sure you have used an anti-dandruff medicated shampoo with ketacomazole. Make sure you get a haircut a few days before the party to let the style settle in.
Skin Cleanse, scrub and moisturise the face with a high SPF hydrating mask at least once a week. Put moisturiser after you shave. Stubbles are in, so go for one. Make-up on the face is a big no for guys.Get your regular dermatological treatments to keep your skin healthy, if you are a regular.
Body Use a scrub on the body. This will help exfoliate the dead skin. Take care of your elbows and knees. Keep your nails clean and trimmed. Take care of unwanted hair growth in any visible area (especially the ears).
DETOX
Hair If you have used a product, rinse the hair well once back home. Condition it again. Oil your hair the next day and once a week post that.
Skin
Get enough sleep after the party. You need it. Don&rsquo;t let the undereye bags grow. Eat healthy and light. Apply a night cream or moisturiser before hitting the bed.
Body Your hands and feet Apply a moisturiser before you sleep.
