There seems to be no end to the controversy over the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat. Now, women belonging to the Kshatriya community in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, have allegedly threatened self-immolation if the screening of the Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor-starrer is not stopped by the government. In a meeting held over the weekend, members decided to stage a protest against the film's release . On January 17, the Rajput Karni Sena, which has been at the forefront of the anti-Padmaavat agitation, has planned a national highway and railway blockade in Chittorgarh.
