Not just Bollywood

There are many singers in Bollywood who rue the lack of independent music in India. Pakistani artist Mustafa Zahid too, feels the same way.

He recently told CS, “What Indian music needs is to groom and understand individual talent, other than Bollywood. I miss those days when we waited for a CD release of Indian bands and artists.

I see so many music reality shows on TV today, but none of them promote and give a chance to individual talents. In every show, you can only hear contestants singing Bollywood songs.
