Here’s an interesting behind-the-scenes nugget about the much-anticipated romantic film Do Deewane Seher Mein, starring Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi. A source close to the production revealed, “Originally, the iconic song ‘Do Deewane Shaher Mein,’ which is heard in the teaser and trailer of Do Deewane Seher Mein, was not conceptualised for the film. However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali watched the film, recognised it as a gem of a story with strong appeal for the current generation, and decided to incorporate it. He gave full creative freedom to director Ravi Udyawar and guided him throughout the process. The makers felt that the original song was the best choice, and since the vocals were so pure, they retained the original track while slightly reprising it to suit contemporary sensibilities. It is not a remix.”
