There was a time when Orry was an enigma. However, in recent times, Orry has started opening up on his super-popular vlogs. While we still don't know what Orry does exactly, in the most recent episode, Orry offered a view of his alma mater in the beautiful Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu where he went to boarding school as a child.

Orry aka Orhan Awatramani admits to being a 'social climber'

In his nearly 40-minute vlog, Orry shared that he wanted to take a train to Kodaikanal but was surprised to find there were no drinks and it "wasn't like the train in Harry Potter." When he arrived at his school and met the students there, they called him "the most relevant person in the world," which made Orry very happy.

Orry even likened himself to Regina George from Mean Girls at his school. He made a "Burn Book" and labelled himself an "inconsiderate social climber." He even made up gossip about himself so people would talk about him. Orry shared a story where his favourite teacher called him a "pretender," and soon everyone started calling him that.

About Orry recently

Orry, confidently stated once again that he earns a significant amount from public appearances. During an interview, he remained tight-lipped about his profession but stressed that he's not inclined towards traditional employment. He mentioned that his business matters are handled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Cornerstone Agency.

During an appearance on Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, Orry mentioned, “I have no interest in doing films or shows. Who dreams of hard labour? Nobody. I hate work, and doing films and TV is a lot of work. And in this industry, work never ends. You take the work home with you, your life revolves around your work. People think it’s an easy life, but it isn’t.”

Talking about how he makes money, Orry revealed that he charges a hefty fee for his appearances. He mentioned, “Do I look cheap? I charge Rs 25 lakh if you ask me for a photo. If I offer one myself, I don’t charge. If someone formally asks for Orry’s touch, it’s Rs 2o lakh.” He mentioned that he has about twelve managers who handle both his personal and professional responsibilities.

“I have a formal team at Dharma Cornerstone Agency, and then I have my own people,” he said.
